ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Integrated Auditor
Today’s global competition is requiring organizations to find efficiencies in every aspect of their business. This of course extends to management systems and by natural extension, internal audits. Integration of management systems has reached a new level and auditors must be equipped to work in this environment. Nowhere is this more true than with health, safety and environmental management systems integrating the requirements of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Auditors today must be prepared to audit systems that integrate the requirements of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. TRC has just the course for this new competitive environment. Our three day combined ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Auditor Course will provide participants with a detailed understanding of the ISO 14001 standard and OHSAS 18001, common aspects of both, and case study learning on what an integrated system might look like. Case study learning includes combined audit planning, preparation, conducting, reporting and follow up.
Completion of this program includes:
- Detailed understanding of the content and intent of the ISO 14001:2004 standard.
- Detailed understanding of the content and intent of the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.
- Case study learning on the common aspects of the standards.
- Case study learning on what an integrated system may look like.
- Case study learning on combined audit planning, preparation, conducting, reporting and follow-up.
The program makes use of short presentations, discussion, individual and team exercises, and case studies. Hands-on participant activity is emphasized.
